Designing for a client. 

 

Loll Designs is an all weather outdoor furniture store made with ultra-durable materials in part from recycled materials. The objective of the project was to design a birdhouse for the brand maintaining Loll’s modern and minimalist design that adds a unique and contemporary aesthetic to outdoor spaces. 

 

As an industrial designer, it is important to understand the client’s brand, thought process and business strategy to create designs that fulfill those characteristics allowing the brand to evolve and become relevant for the customer of today and tomorrow. 

This project taught me not to design for myself, but to create a design that  improves the human experience through design, based on Loll’s innovative, fun, practical and sustainable furniture.
