This is a simple tote bag, yet there is nothing is simple about it. The vegan material is rich in texture and color.  In order to maintain a naturalistic esthetic I decided to focus my intention on the detail of the straps. It was important to only use raw material from the Yucatan region and to ensure the bag could be completely biodegradable.
